Very interesting article about S. mutans! There were a couple of proofreading errors: specifically in the first sentence of the Metabolism section, it seems as though it is a couple of different sentences. I think either you're missing a couple of words or that you just forgot a period at the end. Your synthesis of research articles was very good! I think maybe you could mention in a sentence or two some of the general characteristics of S. mutans maybe: like is it found anywhere else besides teeth? Gram positive/negative? Maybe the size and shape? Otherwise everything looks great!-Devon Donohue

Hey- great article, very cool topic. I would second Devon's suggestion to maybe provide a more in depth introduction to the microbe before leaping into the details of your topic; at the moment, some of what's here seems a bit ungrounded because you jump so quickly into the nitty-gritty. A more fleshed out introduction would be helpful in both providing the basic details of the microbe that Devon asked about and in giving a sort of road-map of where the article is going to take us and how that all ties together. But otherwise, definitely a good start! --Kiri Staiger
