This is such an interesting topic. I thought the historical background was particularly interesting by putting the disease in context with the world's food demands. You mentioned that the disease can be completely eradicated by this new vaccine. Is there anyway to treat the disease once it has been transmitted? I realize that this is probably not cost effective for most farmers, but I was just curious if they have ever found a treatment.
