While researching human pathogens is obviously important, I think it is also important to investigate how different pathogens are affecting wildlife populations. So I found it very interesting that this page did not just look at the mechanisms for how this virus works but how it is affecting bird populations and even gave some conservation recommendations. I also appreciated the amount of research that must have gone into creating this page as 90 different papers were cited to inform this report.

The amount of time taken to exploring the developmental aspects of this disease are thought out very well and easy to read through. I would recommend expanding on how the infection affects the immune system and the body specifically, thus leading to anorexia and such.  Is it attacking the RBCs and as a result they are lower in amount? Overall, incredible job. I really liked reading through this. - Gwen Tosaris
