From MicrobeWiki, the student-edited microbiology resource

Viral Description Comments

-Full titles of HSV are used in the beginning of this section, I am not sure if this is necessary.

HSV Vaccine Comments

"though these vaccine trials sometimes go awry due to viruses that are not attenuated well or that produce local reactions and adverse systemic side effect"

-It would be extremely interesting to hear more about attenuation and the specific problems, awry is vague here.

"A vaccine effective in resulting in sterilizing immunity would have far reaching consequences beyond typical clinical presentations of genital herpes and their associated social troubles."

   - This sentence could be revised

General Comments

Bell's Palsy is introduced as an uncharacteristic disease at the end of the introduction is it possible for more specifics of that interaction to be discussed?

"they continue to shed HSV at all times"

    -this is horrible news.

Your page is really interesting! I really liked the photos that you chose, I think that they matched the topics well. Some of your citations aren't working properly, though. A lot of them link to a source, but don't show up at the bottom of the page under the references section. It's possible that this is an error with the code that you used for the references? I found some minor grammatical errors, so it could use a little bit of editing, but otherwise it looks really good. Great job! -Lauren Michael
