The number of parasites and diseases seen in the blue mussel Mytilus edulis when exposed to the toxic algae Alexandrium fundyense compared to mussels exposed to the nontoxic algae Rhodomonas sp.. The treatment lasted 9 days and days 12 and 15 represent a recovery period when all mussels were exposed to nontoxic algae.
