| Bacillus Thuringiensis has a circular plasmid chromosome. It is comprised of 32% GC-content and has seven main genes: pK1S1_p1, pK1S1_p2, pK1S1_p3, pK1S1_p4, pK1S1_p5, pK1S1_p6, and pK1S1_p7. Compared to its other bacterial relatives, Bt's genome is not considered large. It only has a length of 5,475 nucleotides. Sequencing of Bt's genome was completed fairly recently on February 23rd, 2007.
