I liked your idea! You can link the references in the actual text by using [1] or by just including the link in the text versus at the bottom of the page. Also, I’m intrigued by Race 1 of F. oxysporum and think you could include more than a sentence about the die-off during the first half of the 20th century. Other than that, this is a great article. The current research is fascinating!

This was very interesting! I recently learned that the bananas almost all died out so I enjoyed learning more. I was wondering if there were any roadblocks for FDA approval of the genetically engineered banana strains resistant to fungal infections besides consumer pushback for flavor. I suggest breaking up your sections into multiple paragraphs for a more manageable read, but overall, great job!-Hannah Hertz
