Overall I really enjoyed your paper. I like that we had previously learned about R. palustris so I was able to relate and admire its variability in metabolism. Applying R. palustris to degrading aromatic compounds produced by industrial waste is genius. Industrial waste causes huge environmental issues. Using R. palustris is safe, inexpensive, and undoubtedly effective. One question I have pertaining to this topic is that are there any known issues regarding large colonies of R. palustris because that is what is necessary to metabolism large amounts of industrial waste. In part with producing electricity, I think it is rather impractical a bacteria could be used to output energy in a battery as it will need a constant energy source and it would be difficult to harness that energy, but nonetheless fascinating that R. palustris produces electricity at all. Harnessing hydrogen as a biofuel is also an interesting thought. It definitely burns cleaner, making me wonder if R. palustris could be used as a water source as well. Overall, the page was well written and full of interesting information.
