Allyson worked on the MicrobeWiki during the summer of 2005. In addition to science writing, she works as a book and music critic for various publications. Her poetry has appeared in several literary journals, and she has read her work at the 2005 and 2006 Columbus Arts Festivals. Allyson is currently pursuing an M.A. in English from Case Western Reserve University.
