It was a little hard to get launched directly into PrPc details without any contextualization. Why is PrPc important? Furthermore, there are no citations - although you have references, citations are required. Really interesting material, but it felt as though the reader could have used a little more guidance in following the information; as presented, it was somewhat overwhelming.
I agree a bit with the previous comment, the introduction was a bit overwhelming...but regardless, the article as a whole was really informative and interesting. Prion propagation is something that isn't typically talked about in biology classes so it was neat to be able to learn something more about how it functions within a pathogenic system.
