Talk:Salmonella enterica: foodborne illness

From MicrobeWiki, the student-edited microbiology resource

You stated that Salmonella infections are greater problems in developing countries, as opposed to the U.S., and you go on to give data for infections and death in the U.S., but it would also be nice to see global figures, or data from developing nations. I really like the image you used for Salmonella (Figure 2). I would suggest increasing the size of Figure 3, because it looks interesting, but the details are difficult to make out. Also, during the "Salmonella Enteritidis in Our Poultry" section, it might be better to cite E.S. Soliman et al. with the accompanying year. Moreover, I think it would be interesting to know a little more about the specific antibiotics that Salmonella can be resistant to, and which ones are still effective in treating the bacteria.

I thought overall your article was very interesting. I think if you discussed the antibiotic resistance of salmonella it would add a really interesting aspect to your article. I also found the study that about salmonella in our poultry rather interesting. Good Work.
