Description and Significance

Variovorax durovernensis is a gram-negative bacterium with a curved rod-like cellular morphology. This bacterium typically finds its habitat is soil but has been found in human infections specifically located in the aorta. Variovorax durovernensis is significant because of its role in medicine, potential technology advancements, and ecological health such as plant growth.

Genome Structure

Variovorax durovernensis is approximately 7,390,000 base pairs in size. Variovorax durovernensis has a single circular chromosome. In addition, Variovorax durovernensis has the feature to adapt to extreme environmental conditions and bioremediation. The sequence itself does not differ far from other Variovorax; however, Variovorax durovernensis has a unique sequence that provides a stronger ability to adapt to extreme environmental changes.
