I am very impressed with your page. | I am very impressed with your page. It is very detailed and well organized. This is especially evident in the biosynthesis section of the page. The breakdown of the construction of the Hopanoid lipid was very clear. I was able to tell how each stage built into the other. I really like after you discuss the biosynthesis of the lipid you go into how the structure increases membrane stability. This was a great transition because the biosynthesis section gave me a great mental picture of the structure of the Hopanoid lipid.
I found the tress tolerance section most interesting. I have a personal interest on how stress impacts biological systems. I think that section did a great job of defining the things causing stress in the environment and how the Hopanoids respond. I admire that the subject of your project discusses an unconventional topic in microbiology.
