Talk:Dental Caries Prevention by Camellia sinensis
You may want to discuss why fluoride has been a topic of debate currently (in your intro). Also, it maybe helpful to discuss the mechanism of how tea is able to inhibit bacterial growth. Overall this is an interesting topic and you've done a good job presenting it.

I have found your information regarding how tea can help prevent caries very interesting, as this is something I have never heard before. I also found it interesting how S. sobrinus has shown to be more destructive than S. mutans in terms of caries formation, which I think is not well known. It was interesting to me that you state in your introduction that the sugars and other foods humans consume do not contribute to the acidity in the oral cavity, as this is not true. In particular, it is well known that the high acidity levels of soda pop can actually prove to be more causative of caries than the bacteria that create acids naturally. Additionally, I would be curious to see more about what types of reserach have been done in regards to caries prevention using tea. Are there any mechanisms that are speculated. Overall, you provide some very interesting comments regarding C. sinensis and its role in caries prevention and I enjoyed reading our paper.
