Overview

The CTXφ bacteriophage (or CTXphi bacteriophage) is a lysogenic, single-stranded DNA filamented phage that is responsible for turning the previously non-infectious Vibrio cholerae into a highly pathogenic microbe that causes disease in humans.[1],[2]
