-In the intro you mention that urease creates an acidic environment but then later on says that it decreases acid: maybe make more clear. -You could go into some more detail about the acid resistance of H. pylori and maybe talk more about the type IV excretion system. -Would it be possible to get a larger version of Figure 5: kind-of hard to read. -Stephanie

Great page, I enjoyed reading through it, a few suggestions that I would have would be to consider making the numbers for your sources in text into superscripts, this makes them stand out less without making them hard to find. It also appears that you are missing sources in your reference page, near the end of the text you have [17] and [18] listed as references but those numbers are absent from your references section. -Could you clarify the sentence, "Evidence for H. pylori as a causative agent of gastric adenocarcinoma is abundant, yet is only a risk factor for non-cardia gastric cancer." What's the difference between gastric adenocarcinoma and non-cardia gastric cancer? -in reference to this sentence- "H. pylori facilitates survival within its host through the utilization of a urease enzyme which creates an extremely acidic environment (pH 1-2) for the bacterium" Why does the bacteria require acidic conditions? -second paragraph in section "gastric cancer" is of smaller font? -Reword the sentence, "Although vast amounts of knowledge are understood about the mechanisms by which Helicobacter pylori is able to inhabit and infect human gastric epithelial cells and in virulent strains, be the main risk factor in inducing gastric carcinoma, virtually no information is known as to the prevention of not just pathogenic strains but also latent strains of the bacterium. " and "Another important idea that is vital to understanding the mechanism of H. pylori as it relates to gastritis and varying degrees of carcinogenesis within the gastrointestinal tract, is why the bacterium is correlated with high prevalence rates of MALT lymphoma and gastric adenocarcinoma, but is also associated with a decreased risk of esophageal adenocarcinoma and cancer of the upper stomach. This was a great read! I really liked learning more about H. pylori after hearing an introductory bit on it during our class at the beginning of the semester. You clearly detail the pathogenic mechanisms of its invasion, immune system evasion, and DNA repair inhibition. It seems that one of your two paragraphs describing mucosal associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma (MALT) under the "Gastric Cancer" heading has a strange font change; this text is smaller than all the other text in your paper. Besides this, very well done! -Danny
